Franklin Van Report 18th August 2017.

PUKEKOHE:   Nerolie, Rose Heta and Bazil Minhinnick packed food at Baker’s Delight. Nerolie went to deliver some food to Racheal’s place then travelled home. Rose & Bazil headed up to Papakura Countdown.

PAPAKURA:   They were joined by Te Ataarangi Heta,  Caren Taylor and Marie McGuiness. After food and hot water preparation, they decided to go straight up to the Park after prayer. A man called Richie greeted us and spoke for a while with Bazil. He was given a warm jacket and was very grateful.

Bruce Pullman Park.  Fairly quiet, but one of the other D.A. vans with Lesley driving, dropped in to connect for about 15 minutes. Caren connected with Dee. Bazil connected Howdy. Ata served the hot drinks and did a great job.  Rose then connected with Howdy and she and Bazil got on really well due to family connections and he even joined us for our end of night prayer!

We gave a jacket to a lady and enjoyed the great conversations that were going on. Rim brought his dog Max over and we also met Alex, Steve and Garry.

Little Dee shared with Caren that she has been “getting into the Lord” and praying for a new car. She said she is being gifted a car soon!!

A cool wind tonight but the expected rain held off.  We spoke with around 10 people and enjoyed the night.

Our Drug-Arm AGM is coming up on the 26th of this month and everyone is invited. A great guest speaker is coming and a good meal is included for $25.   The AGM is over quickly, so don’t let that put you off…..come and enjoy a wonderful evening.

Transport can be provided.
